The terms are binding to both parties once the customer has made the reservation.
Rooms are available from 16.00 onwards on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 12.00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed. Payment is by cash upon arrival. Alternatively, the customer can present a debit or credit card for checking upon arrival. Accommodation will then be charged upon check-out.
The room will be held for you until 18:00 on the day of arrival, unless a later time has been agreed. The customer will not be charged for an unconfirmed reservation even if they do not cancel the reservation by 18:00. The Spa is entitled to give the room to another customer after 18:00.
Confirmation guarantees that the Spa will hold the room for the customer on the day of arrival even after 18:00.The Spa is entitled to get the customer’s debit or credit card number and period of validity as confirmation that the customer accepts the charge. If the customer fails to arrive, and the reservation has not been cancelled by 18:00, the customer shall pay for the room.
Holiday reservation refers to a room reservation for 3 days or longer, or room reservation of any length including spa treatments. Holiday reservations must always be confirmed with debit or credit card details or by paying the reservation price as an advance payment against an invoice sent by the Spa.
An unconfirmed room reservation does not need to be cancelled. If a confirmed reservation is cancelled, the Spa must always be informed. A confirmed room reservation can be cancelled without charge by 18:00 on the day of arrival.
Holiday reservations can be cancelled without charge if cancelled 7 days before the date of arrival. If a holiday reservation is cancelled later than that, but not more than 3 days before the date of arrival, one third of the price of the holiday will however be charged as a cancellation fee, an amount corresponding to at least 1 day and not more than 3 days. After that, the full price of the holiday will be charged.

The holiday apartment is available from 16:00 onwards on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 11:00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed. Payment is by cash upon arrival or by presenting a debit or credit card upon arrival in which case accommodation will be charged upon check-out, unless otherwise agreed.
On request and upon arrival, the customer shall present receipts for payments made to Imatra Spa Resort. If the reservation was made through a travel agency, the customer shall hand over to the reception the voucher received from the travel agency.
If a reservation is cancelled, the Spa must always be informed. The customer is entitled to a refund less administrative expenses (€29.00), if the cancellation is made 21 days before the date of arrival. Cancellations made later than 21 days before the date of arrival shall only be refunded, if the Spa is able to rent the holiday apartment to someone else or if the cancellation is due to acute illness, accident or death of the customer or a person sharing a household with them.
If the customer changes the time period of the reservation, this is considered to be a new reservation and cancellation of the previous reservation.
In case of a force majeure situation, Imatra Spa Resort shall inform the customer as soon as possible. The customer is then entitled to a refund of payments made to Imatra Spa Resort. The Imatra Spa Resort is entitled to cancel a reservation, if the customer has not complied with the terms of payment.
The rent for a holiday apartment includes free use of the apartment, furniture, bedding (mattresses, blankets, pillows), bed linen (1 set per person), basic crockery, electricity and water. In addition, the rent includes dishwashing agents, cleaning agents and toilet and kitchen paper.
Pets are allowed in some of the holiday apartments. Please contact the Spa for further information. The charge for a pet is €25/apartment/each week or part thereof. Smoking is only allowed outside the apartments.
Final cleaning is included in the rent. You can also book cleaning during your stay. The price is €70 per cleaning session. If you stay less than 7 days, the charge for a change of linen during your stay is €9 per set of linen. If you stay longer than 7 days, weekly change of linen is included in the rent.
Before departure and final cleaning, customers shall make sure that all dishes and kitchen utensils have been washed, the refrigerator and waste containers have been emptied, and that all furniture, utensils and equipment are in good condition and in their original places.
The customer is responsible for the movable property in the holiday apartment during their rental period. The customer shall report to and compensate the Imatran Kylpylä Spa for all damage caused by them to the holiday apartment, including damage inflicted by pets.
The apartment may only be used by the number of people mentioned in the brochure and on these pages. The use of a tent, camper or caravan in the yard of the holiday apartment is not allowed without permission from the Spa. The charge for additional persons is €30/day/person plus breakfast according to price list and admittance to Spa Taikametsä per person for each day.
Cancellations are free of charge if made by 16:00 the previous weekday. 50% of the actual price is charged for cancellations made on the day the treatment was scheduled. All services that are not cancelled are charged in full.
